World ASAP Day

World ASAP Day

An idea which started 3 years ago in Northern Ireland and is supported by schools, politicians, councils and media across the province, is now well on its way to becoming a global environmental inspiration: Living ASAP.

On June 21st, World ASAP Day will be celebrated especially in Northern Ireland, + Britain, Canada and Australia, where Irish people will be asked to take the lead and Pledge ASAP: Give up one thing and take up one thing, to live ASAP [As Sustainably as Possible]

And our children will be asked to use Positive Pester Power [PPP] on us, to get on with it.

From September 2012, Baglady will be working with Eco-Schools in 760 schools round NI, and through them with FEE: Foundation for Environmental Education, with members in 52 countries. With the help of Australian environmental education groups eg. CleanUp Australia and Planet Ark,.she’ll also starting work with schools, councils and politicians. The first Australian politician is NSW MP Roza Sage.

People are encouraged to take our pledge online at www.bagladyproductions.org or http://ow.ly/3nEo2

how to live ASAP?
‘It’s really about ending all forms of waste and showing respect for every thing and every creature on our planet.’
‘So we have GASAP – Grow ASAP, the SASAP [shop], CASAP [cook] EASAP [eat, drink and be merry] RASAP [recycle inc. compost]. Might sound daft but it’s easy to do, makes a difference, saves money and it makes you feel good in these very challenging times.’
