On the 8th of September Baglady attended Katoomba’s second annual Footlight Festival, on the grounds of Katoomba North Public School. The Footlight Festival is an environmentally focused festival so Baglady thought it would be the perfect opportunity to go along and find out what people in the Blue Mountains are doing ASAP = As Sustainably As Possible.

The Footlight Festival is an initiative of the Katoomba North Public School’s Parents & Citizens committee and is focussed on promoting sustainable living. The festival was officially opened by Labor Senator Doug Cameron, whom Baglady had the opportunity to invite to be Australia’s first politician to take the ASAP pledge.
