Local Grower and BM Food Co op fresh produce supplier Steve Alton: “Growing is Connectivity… a spiritual experience”. Permaculturalist Sue Girard and Slow Food Convivium leader Anne Elliot discuss, among many things: “Food on the Wild Side”, and Gazette supplement “A Kitchen Garden in Every Home”, workshops, tours, etc. Radio Blue Mountains programmer Busta Chais tells of his garden and chook shed made from recycled materials. Rosemary Evans sees Community Gardens in every community in the mountains as the way forward. Shirley reminds us of the need to look after “the other side of the fence” by joining bush care groups.
