These are a few of the many good friends in schools around Northern Ireland who keep in touch often, sending us great positive messages.
we also receive great emails offering support for out campaign, which we feel deserve to be seen here on the website. If you want to leave us a general message of encouragement and solidarity, this is the place to do it.

Dear Shirley,
This is the Eco Team from St.Anne`s Primary School. We have been encouraging people to try to reuse their bags. We were in contact with Mr. McBrearty the manager of Super Valu. We have also been in contact with the local paper, The Strabane Chronicle. We have made posters for Mr. McBrearty to put up in the shop (Super Valu). We have been working very hard, and the work is improving a lot.I really hope that you enjoy this letter.P.S l hope that your campaign works out well, and the best of luck in the future.

I am thinking of going to my school and doing a bag clean-up coz TONS OF BAGS are just caught up in the hedge and at school. I can do a wee survey, “Do you need a bag?”. Also I think it is great how all the people are doing something to help.
keep the cool ideas coming!

Meghann McKeague and Trillick Controlled Primary School

Hi,
My name is Meghann McKeague. I am a pupil at Trillick Controlled Primary School. I am getting in touch with you on behalf of my class who would like to say thank you for visiting our school. I was very surprised to find out that 500 million bags are used by people like us each year, and for every man, woman and child 300 are used. I am very glad you came as I’m now aware of what is happening to the environment because of plastic bags. My classroom would like to say a nice big thank you for coming!Come back soon,
Meghann & Class.
P.S. By the way our parents are going mental because we’re pestering so much!
