Deepest Condolences

Dear readers,

Shirley’s father passed away peacefully on Wednesday night.
The Baglady team would like to share our deepest sympathies with Shirley and her family.

The funeral is expected to be on Monday.

Education Minister Ruane takes Pledge ASAP

Education Minister Caitriona Ruane and Baglady help Tiernagh Harper and Dominic Burden from St Colman's PS Kilkeel with the school's vegetable plot.

Rising from my sickbed to report the latest NI Assembly Minister to Pledge ASAP.

Caitriona Ruane is the 4th or 5th? Northern Ireland Assembly Minister to pledge. [can't think, let alone, count today but I know we've had Poots, Wilson and Foster already, and that's some line-up init]

Last week Caitriona visited St Colman’s Primary School, Kilkeel where the children spoke out loud and clear about their pledges.

So well done Caitriona, for showing leadership!
